About Dr Reesa
Experience, expertise and a person-centred approach
I believe that every person has unique strengths, abilities and potential. Through person-centred counselling and creative approaches, I work alongside each person to recognise their strengths, build confidence, develop new skills, and support meaningful growth and wellbeing.
Drawing on more than 40 years of professional experience, I integrate counselling, the visual arts, education, creativity and health to provide individualised support.
Throughout my career, I have worked in schools, universities and private practice, counselling children, adolescents and adults, supporting individuals and families, and educating future teachers.
Today, I provide professional, person-centred counselling that integrates creative and expressive processes to support each person's strengths, interests and goals.
A lifelong commitment to learning
My qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, degrees in Education and Fine Arts, a Diploma of Counselling, a PhD in Education, and a Specialist Certificate in Creativity and Health. They reflect a lifelong commitment to learning and continue to shape the way I work with every client.
Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child or a family member, I work with you to celebrate abilities, address challenges, and support positive growth and wellbeing.
